Michel Deneuve has devoted himself to the Cristal Baschet since 1975. He has applied techniques from the piano and violin to the way he plays the Cristal. He has diversified the repertoire of this instrument to make it known and show its versatility by mixing the it with the instruments of the orchestra. Michel Deneuve develops and nourishes the Cristal essentially from his own repertoire devoted to the instrument. His classical training and his musical tastes extend beyond Western culture bringing to his compositions a musical richness where these influences, these varied musical currents, rub shoulders and complement each other without ever opposing each other.
