YngSolomon’s timeless blend of rap and pop transcends genres. Based in Santa Rosa CA, he ignited the north bay music scene during the 2020 lock downs by hosting 24 live music events between July 2020 to August 2021, the last of which featured Zion-I & The Grouch with DJ Fresh, B-Legit, RBL Posse, Pato Banton and Nef the Pharaoh. In 2022 he clocked 222 live performances. In 2023 he supported Souls of Mischief for part of their east coast tour and on May 17th, 2024 he opened for Lil Wayne at the Tacoma Dome. He credits his Buddhist practice for helping cultivate the confidence to pursue music at the highest level. His catchy hooks and uplifting flow are influenced by some of his favorite artists Wiz Khalifa, Post Malone, Kanye West & Mac Miller.
