As a classical trained guitarist and self-thaught producer and pianist, the artist known to us as lorleaf not only knows both the academic and the DIY side of music making, he also has experience in composing and producing music from numerous and diverse genres, ranging from Film Scores, Post-Rock and dark Ambient all the way to Modern Funk and RnB. The Leipzig-based artist is a musical world traveler. Now, inspired by 90ies Neo-Soul, his mums record collection and modern Chillhop, lorleaf produces and composes music that feels relaxing and exciting at the same time - like a sunset over the ocean or the view from the top of a mountain.
