Chikondi Chalie Saword, professionally known as Chiko Chalie, is a distinguished R&B/Soul artist hailing from Lilongwe, Malawi, born on July 2, 1996. Her musical journey, inspired by icons like Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, commenced with victories in Nyasa's Got Talent and Sunbird’s E-Wallet talent show. Debuting with "Illusions’’ in 2019, she later collaborated with GrisVer and explored various genres through the Nvak Foundation. The 2023 release of "Fly to You" showcased her versatility and received acclaim. Engaging with Music4Malawi, she hosted the Kwathu Podcast, represented at the 2023 Maso Awards, and participated in the successful Kwanu Band. Chiko has big plans for 2024!
