As if he was watching from an indifferent window the death of analog hype and the deep ecstasy of the Ultra-digital era, the music made by Mijo is a conceptually intelligible, absurd, and ultimately brilliant ode to the violent third world philosophical machinery of expression that dominates Latin American dancefloors . Releasing music on labels around the world like Sanfuentes Records, Kompakt, Turbo Recordings, Correspondant, Gomma and Her Majesty Ship or in his own highly acclaimed electronic etiquettes Electrique Music, Disque Discos and Exxxtra Picante, that through the years have become global benchmarks of the music made in Mexico, constantly pushing the edge for the creation of a latin techno identity. He has participated with audiovisual shows in 4 editions of MUTEK, one of the most important electronic and digital media festivals in the globe.
