John Holmes (Born April 17th 1980) better known by his stage name JR. Is an Australian Hip Hop Artist, Born and Raised in Kwinana. JR. has been making music in the Perth Hip Hop scene since the early 90's. In 2009 JR. released his debut LP "Such Iz Life" which featured a collaboration with the legendary Kool G Rap. In 2011, JR. released his second offering with the album “Tha Sun Setz In Tha West”. Recently JR. has been in the studio working on his third solo studio album "Such Iz Life II" which hosts a number of Guest appearances from Ruste Juxx, Skyzoo, Young Noble (of Tha Outlawz), Tash & J-Ro (of Tha Alkaholiks), Planet Asia, Supreme The Eloheem (of The Representativz) & more. Over the past two decades, JR. has had the opportunity to work, record & perform on stage with some of Hip Hop’s all time greats including KRS-ONE, Kool G Rap, Sadat X (of Brand Nubian), Sticky Fingaz, Fredro Starr & Sonny Seeza (of ONYX), M.O.P., A.G.
