Angelo Zavala, better known as Flakodiablo, is a Dj and Beatmaker from Santiago de Chile. His beginnings were in 2007 when he acquired his first turntable and began to practice scratch and record small demos for friends in the neighborhood. Little by little he went deeper in the Beatmaking to know sequencing software and learning different techniques of sampling and signal processing. Start his career playing Scratches in some bands but soon his desire to create something more his own led him to develop his solo project as a Beatmaker that consists of a tireless search to create Hip Hop instruments from sound elements found on old vinyl records and cassettes, mixing different musical styles to generate original beats and with the influence of Hip Hop from the 90s, but at the same time innovative, modern, with touches of Funk and Psychedelia. In September 2018 Flakodiablo travels to Europe and performs a one-month tour, performing live in 5 cities in Germany, also getting to know the scene of European beats and some of its protagonists. From 2016 to the present Flakodiablo has been constantly producing Beat Tapes that have been published by different national and foreign labels. He is also known for various live performances and is currently part of the capital's independent music scene.
