Frank "Franc Grams" Colmenares (born March 10th, 1990) is a hip hop artist quickly emerging out of CT. No freshman to the underground scene, Franc boasts an impressive resume. Best known in Connecticut for founding an award winning annual talent showcase for the youth in home state, Franc Grams can also add being named one of Connecticut top 40 under 40 award recipients to his resume, for his community service. His music, indulged in metaphors and symbolic meanings, paint the life this young rapper has pioneered. By age 13 Franc began creating a selfless impact, as a co -founder of a nonprofit program for at risk students who are offered the arts as a preventive mechanism. No stranger to hardship Franc Grams grew up in the low income housing complexes of Boulder Drive in New London, CT. It is there where Franc was able to see the paradox the streets and drug world offered him. Determined to use his brother’s early incarceration as an ambition to succeed he allowed nothing to deter his destined main stream acclamation.
