Quasamodo (real name Dimitris Nassios) is a composer, lyricist and producer born in Wimbledon, UK in 1978. In 2007 he released his first album "Truth Be Told" under the alias Quasamodo through Timewarp Music, then "Move Sucka" with Basement Freaks on Goodgroove Records and "Let's Funk" for Manmade Records in 2009. The collaboration with George Fotiadis (Basement Freaks) led to the birth of a new project called The Smokey Bandits and together they wrote their album "Debut" (KLIK Records) . By 2009 Quasamodo was not only writing music but performing his music through a series of live performances with his new project Quasamodo & The Q Orchestra. In 2010 album no2 "Journey Through Sounds" is released on Freestyle Records under the new alias The Q Orchestra and in January 2012 the third album "Movin' On" (Bombastic Jam). In 2014 he signed his fourth album "The Big Picture" with UK's Jalapeno Records. 2017 - 2020 he produced & wrote songs for many artists like Idra Kayne, Project Uncut, Tereza Kazitori, Eva Sakellari, ROI/ΡΟΗ, Panos Mouzourakis and co-produced Anduze's (singer for Parov Stellar) album "AURA" In 2021 started his latest project "Man Called Shadow" which acts as a collective of some of the best musicians in Greece and they release their debut. In 2022 Quasamodo teams up with Alex Sid and composes the soundtrack for the TV series Paralia on ERT1. http://www.quasamodo.com
