Australian born, Dresden based musician, photographer and filmmaker Michael Mortlock has been producing music since he was a teenager in his home town of Sydney. Since the release of his debut Mortlock EP in 2009, his style has evolved as his taste in music expanded to explore multiple genres and influences. Michael is currently developing several new EP's under his two aliases Mortlock and Cactus Face, as well as a debut album of multi-genre inspired electronic music, incorporating his love of piano and film soundtracks with electronic soundscapes.
