Biography

TGHB is from the Baltimore/DC area. The band has toured throughout the United States, getting their first chance to experience life on the road on the Launch Tour in 2015 with The Venetia Fair and Icarus the Owl after signing with CI Records (August Burns Red, The Pink Spiders, Carousel Kings). Since then, TGHB has shared stages big and small with national touring acts and hometown heroes all over the country. The band has released two full length albums through CI Records - “rad-pop.” in 2018 and “Songs in Eastern Standard Timing” in 2015 - as well as a Christmas EP split with Carousel Kings called “Three Christmas Classics, A Four Song EP” which included TGHB’s original “Twisted Christmas.” In 2020, the quartet released the “Cabin Fever” EP via guitarist/vocalist’s Neal Karkhanis’ imprint label rad-pop. records. The indie label also released two separate holiday compilations that included a TGHB original and a cover. TGHB self produces music with guitarist/vocalist Eric Taft at self-run Buzzlounge Recording Studio located just outside of Baltimore. In 2023, The Great Heights Band released singles “Kickstart the Feeling” and “Above the Water,” the first two songs made available off their forthcoming third LP “Bummer in the Summer.” TGHB is Owen Brinser (bass), Neal Karkhanis (guitar/vocals), Paul Martinez (drums), and Eric Taft (guitar/vocals).
