LILLY is a Ugandan RnB/Soul Singer/Songwriter. She started writing and performing music at the age of 14 years. In 2007, she released her first record, “Beera Nange” with Allan Toniks. She has since then released her debut album,“Freedonia” an afrosoul/RnB record in 2020, and is slowly reacquainting herself with the music industry. She followed up her 2020 release with an acoustic version of the same and “Blessed” a song that was recorded and written with music producer, Andy Muzic in January, 2023, Love Letter with the talented urban music producer, Timothy Dylan and crowned the year off with a love letter to her home country, with her single “Where U R From”. LILLY believes that making music is like being in a toy store. “Only your imagination can limit you because there are no rules”. Although she describes herself first and foremost as an RnB artist, she loves to fuse her RnB roots with other genres of music and enjoys vocal layering to add texture and ear candy to her songs. LILLY’s music is the canvas for her love of storytelling. Through her music Lilly hopes to uplift and inspire others to own and find beauty in their own stories. LILLY’s latest song titled “Kontrolla” is a bold, sensual Caribbean inspired love song about a relentless, simmering tension between two people who experience an intense emotional connection and the hunger to finally surrender to it.
