Bluesman from Brooklyn - Jamaica Queens. Inspiration comes from life's adversities . Grew up on the streets of New York. musical influences Eric Clapton - Duane Allman - Robert Cray - Frank Sinatra - Buddy Guy - Brian Setzer and John Coltrane My musical approach is to sing and play with intensity & passion . My guitar playing is gritty, melodic and memorable . I don't run scales, i play and create music. My singing approach started off more crooner and smooth and has evolved into more grit. After a 25 year hiatus, i picked up the guitar and also started singing in 2011-12. In 2014 i created my band Peter V Blues Train . Released 6 albums, the last two recieved critical acclaim and many accolades . Currently doing finishing touches on album # 7. " Full Tilt for late summer release. My sound is unique and distinct . Never ran with the herd, but i've heard it all before. i keep pushing the artistic boundaries in the Blues Genre infusing interesting rhythms and melodie's .
