Demons Are Black Holes is an occult, dark minimal techno project that intertwines elements of deep, dark dub & psychedelic deep tech. Created in 2013 by Serbian producer Marko Marković (known before as “Omid Mosayebi” cyr. “Омид МаЗаЈеби”), project delves into themes of occultism, magic, psychedelic substances, extraterrestrial phenomena, and the enigma of space, the sound is shaped by his personal immersion in occultism and his experiences with psychedelic drugs, seeking to manifest a hypnotically dark and trance-like atmosphere. Alongside his projects, such as Dubrano, Dubishi, Deep Du8, Picasso Groove, Azimetruum, and Varna Sankara, Demons Are Black Holes stands as the clearest expression of deep fascination with the concept of demons and “invincible evil interdimensional beings”—the invisible forces that shape human experience and the mysteries of the cosmos. His work questions how these dark entities may influence not only our minds but our very souls, journey, however, is not one of relentless descent into darkness. After years of seeking answers in esoteric occult practices, he claims to have found truth and spiritual clarity within the Eastern Orthodox Christian monasteries, a place where the abyss of human despair meets the divine. He reflects that “Orthodoxy is the true path for the touch of the divine,” a statement that betrays a profound shift—an awakening from the endless search for meaning in shadow to a humble surrender to a higher, more transcendent truth.
