Swiss beatmaker FunkyChild bought his first pair of turntables in 2008 a few month after seeing the movie « Scratch ». After DJing for a few years his scratch mentor DJ Tone-C allowed him to use one of his MPCs 2000XL. This is when he got serious about beatmaking. Of course before using an MPC FunkyChild tried to loop some samples on a cracked version of FruityLoops with his childhood friend NUM. After making a couple of beats on his first Akai MPC 2000XL, FunkyChild met Invhide (Tone-C’s scratching brother) and his SP1200/S950 combo…After hearing that 12bits sound the quest became obvious. FunkyChild had to get these two samplers to complete his setup. After binge-searching for a while he finally found them for a pretty decent price in circa 2015. Since then, Funkychild got engaged to these two samplers.
