Nathan Shay Elias-Kocivar (NSEK), creator of NOiSEMAKER dub, is a multi- instrumentalist, dub enthusiast, music educator, and producer, who creates multi- genres under the label NSEK. He combines tastes of Jamaican dub and jazz into his music, while taking his audience on a sonic exploration using deep bass lines, a tasteful combination of organic and synthetic sounds, groove, and space. By the age of 10, lil’ Natey was performing on piano, sax, and guitar for his elementary school. It was at this time that he was introduced to Midnite, Steel Pulse, Thievery Corporation, and Gong Fu tea (a traditional style of drinking tea) whose influences can be heard in his music if you listen carefully. He is a founding member of the 9 piece band BOOSTIVE, who has performed alongside Thievery Corporation, Slightly Stoopid, Dirtwire, Don Carlos, and many more.
