After relocating to his hometown of Indianapolis during the pandemic, Phil Austrom used the enforced hiatus as an opportunity to fine-tune his studio prowess. It was during this time that he released his debut house EP, 'Stolen Loot,' followed by the immersive album 'Domains,' both finding their home on the esteemed Eastblvd Records in 2021 and 2022 respectively. Phil's unwavering commitment to his craft swiftly propelled him to household name status within the Indianapolis scene, sharing stages with revered Midwest legends and opening for international acts. Austrom found himself back in the vibrant rhythm of Vancouver in 2023, where he launched his label: Howitzer Records. Eschewing the constraints of genres, Howitzer Records’ sole focus is underground dance music of uncompromising quality.
