Eric king is a American rapper,singer, and songwriter. The Omaha Nebraska native had a mixed childhood. His father being a pastor Eric first learned music in the church choir. His dad also put Eric and his older brothers and cousins In the local talent shows as the Jackson 5 Eric being Michael. His first performance at only 5 years of age Eric would steal the crowd. His family knew he was a natural, his father pastor Edward king would tell Eric he had “The It Factor”. Eric and his childhood friends formed a hip hop group and would release two mixtapes gaining notoriety in the Omaha area. It wasn’t long before Eric and his friends got into trouble, serving 7 1/2 year prison term King strategized a plan to turn his love for music into a successful career. Upon his release Eric got right to work releasing the classic mixtape “More Than A King” featuring the sexy stand out song “In Private” that made Eric the new hot artist from Omaha. Feeding off of the success of MTAK Eric landed a feature with YFN Lucci (The Move) and Grammy award winning producer Mex Manny (Adjustments) in 2020 King released Orchard Park produced by Chicago native Bugsy Malone.
