konb is a Japanese trumpeter and beatmaker. He started playing the trumpet by himself while he was in college, and after graduating he was active in various bands and sessions. Strongly influenced by MUTE BEAT and Miles Davis, he has performed in Japan and abroad with a speculative and floating playing style. In 2019, he moved to beatmaking. And released his debut album from Japanolofi Records in 2022. He specializes in the style of putting his own trumpet on dub and lofi hip hop beats. He also actively collaborates with various beatmakers and vocalists.
