Doubleheader sparked from the frontal collision between musician-producer-rapper Arthur Comeau (ex Radio Radio, aka Nom de Plume) and multi-instrumentalist, producer and arranger Jean Massicotte (Patrick Watson, Jean Leloup, Lhasa, Arthur H and Alejandra Ribera amongst others). Doubleheader songs are the result of furious beatmaking and creative sound twisting. The wild mix of ideas brought along by these two producers show what pop music can feel like in the 2020s : a unique mix of space funk, electro blues-reggaeton, rap-cajun-country and more. For some reason, whatever the roots are, it sounds like... Doubleheader. Beats and languages are all mixed up in a new combination of musical and vocal styles.
