Hello, my name is Alex. But you can call me Illy. I am trying not to try to be perfect. I want this to be honest and let the flaws be the most human part of this expression. About a year ago, I had to change how I create due to various long standing, but long ignored disabilities. Life felt harder for me than anyone else, but I could work harder, and so I compensated by becoming a perfectionist. But creating in that way was draining, stifling, and slowly killing me. And for what? Illyngton is me trying not to be perfect, but to be honest and express myself. Sometimes it's fun, sometimes hard to look at, sometimes raw, and sometimes nonsensical. But life is absurd, and I just want people to know that. I don't want to be a celebrity. I don't want to be perfect. I do want to be creative, innovative, and honest and build a place where we value those things.
