Discovered by legendary radio promoter Gary Lefkowith and best known for his work with Rock and Roll legend Chubby Checker. Face Dada first made his Billboard chart debut on Chubby Checker Single "Original Master of the Dance Hall Beat" which also featured reggae band Inner Circle. For the next 3 years Face Dada toured as part of Chubby Checker's band and made numerous national T.V. appearances along side the rock legend. In 2007, Face Dada appeared on the Urban Mix of Chubby Checker's Billboard #1 record "Knock Down the Walls". In 2006, Chubby Checker and Gary Lefkowith were looking for someone to develop Face Dana's sound and reached out to record producer Michael DeBarge. Checker and Lefkowith were looking for a young producer who could appeal to both Pop and Urban audiences. They asked Michael DeBarge if he would step in and produce Face's debut single. DeBarge immediately assembled the all star team of recording engineer Chey de Los (Skee-Lo, Doc Ice), David Ruffin Jr. (writer/performer of Snoop Dogg's Gin and Juice), platinum songwriter Tony Kurtis, The FLUU (Trent Reznor), Paul "Sequence" Ferguson (Guru's Jazzamattaz), Shawn J. (Shelia Raye Charles) and J.C. the Eternal (Formerly DJ Minute Mix of PM Dawn. The result was the underground hit EP "Hustlin So Long". In 2010 Face Dada relocated to Jamaica where he released the single "Ghetto". Face Dada now resides in the UK where he continues to record and perform.
