Joy Shahriar is a Bangladeshi Singer Songwriter based in the most densely populated city in the world named "Dhaka". His genre of music includes RnB to Melo Rock, Indie to Country. As a songwriter the "Urban Romanticism" is the strength of his creations. JS started his musical journey at the age of 4 with a Children Cultural Organisation named "Shurjamukhi". He entered the professional music scene with his band named " Nirjhor" in the year of 2000. They released their debut album "Shopnoghuri" (2006) followed by "Brishtishohor" (2010). His first studio album as a singer-songwriter was "Shotti Bolchhi" (2009) followed by "Akhoni" (2011) and "Thik Ebhabei" (2014). Recently he released his fourth studio album named “Lapatta…”(2019). He is also a part of a musical project named "The Brotherhood Project" since 2012. They have two studio albums named "The Brotherhood Project" (2012) and "Ta Na Na Na" (2015). From 2014 Joy Shahriar produced around 100 songs as a songwriter, Music Producer for renowned artists of Bangladesh and India including Subir Nandi, Nachiketa Chakraborty, Kumar Bishwajit, Rupankar Bagchi, Silajit, Bappa Mazumder, Fahmida Nabi, Tahsan, Elita Karim, Parvez, Iman Chakraborty, Imran, Minar and more. Joy Shahriar is the founder of “Bangladesh Singer Songwriters Hub’’ which is the only platform working for the betterment of country’s singer songwriters.
