Papi Tone, formerly known as T.Prince to most is an African American male who was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. Specifically the north side of St. Louis the most impoverished and dangerous part of the city. Born April 7, 1991, Papi Tone has been intrigued by music since he could remember. Papi Tone's early years The conditions were discouraging witnessing death and many other obstacles in his upbringing. Music has always been a mental getaway for the St. Louis artist but indulging in street activities became inevitable. The musical love created a way to transfer that energy into something legitimate. He then decided to found his own label called Blo music group, B.L.O Meaning Black & Legally Owned Papi Tone style is created by many styles and cultural differences such as east coast storytelling and complex lyrical abilities, west coast gangster rap and rough content, down south bounce, and Midwest versatility of all coast. Papi Tone also has collaborations with Young Dolph, Travis Porter, Cassius Jay, Chasethemoney, Tonyboy Beats & Rarri just to name a few major artists and producers. His most recent debut was “Tax Season” a well-anticipated mixtape with the hardcore melodic trap sound that is very relevant in today’s scene but also showcasing the ability to tell stories and the ability to show his lyrical ability.
