Coming from Greensboro, NC, Matt Betts found a love for music amongst his own family full of musicians. He’s been cited saying, “My mom and my sister sang around the house, my brother played the alto saxophone, and my dad liked to write lyrics, music is in my DNA”. He strives to create a tapestry through storytelling within his music. With a sound that allows the casual listeners to enjoy, and the analyzers to dig through for meaning, there is something for everyone in each track. He finds inspiration from personal life experiences, and from those of the ones closest to him.
