Jessie and The Toy Boys was the hyper pop conceptual brain child of Jessica Eden Malakouti (now Eden xo) between 2010-2012. The Toy Boys were not actual band members, but rather an ever rotating collection of perfection in the form of male mannequins, dancers, and musicians who would participate in performance art exhibitions and live concerts at different times with Jessie. Under this brief time as a "band" Jessie and The Toy Boys amassed a large underground following in the LGBTQ club scene. This lead to Jessie opening up Britney Spears' North American leg of her "Femme Fatale Tour" alongside Nicki Minaj, and performing on live television on shows such as CONAN, all whilst an independent artist. Once Malakouti signed to Virgin Records in 2013, she re-branded using her middle name, Eden, and changed her sonic direction for a more organic sound.
