Ibrahim Sincere is an independent rapper from London, telling gritty stories of crime, poverty, social justice and the search for inner-peace which are equally as ugly as they are beautiful. Born in Mombasa, Kenya, raised on a London council estate and of mixed Somali and Indian ethnicity, Sincere uses poetry and dynamic flows to create vivid images of the harsh realities of his native environments, and takes listeners deep into his consciousness where they can understand his perspective and contemplate on their own purpose and direction amidst the chaos he paints. Having made his name in the London Hip-Hop and Spoken Word scene, Ibrahim began to reach listeners from Canada to Nigeria and created a buzz opening for artists such as Lowkey, he has also performed at shows alongside The Last Poets and Immortal Technique. After a 2-3 year hiatus to focus on his studies, he is back to working on his passion with an evolved sound and a fresh outlook. Following the release of his first mixtape 'Being & Becoming' in December 2018, 2019 promises to be a year of growth for Ibrahim Sincere as he plans to build his portfolio of hard-hitting music and expand his fanbase.
