The Beat Murderer is a Hip-Hop producer/beatmaker from the Netherlands, born in 1992. He grew up with 90's hip-hop and drew inspiration from producers like J Dilla, Flying Lotus, Dr. Dre, Kanye West and Timbaland. Robin first encountered FL Studio (DAW software) at the age of 14 and has never let go of this passion since. During his youth, he spent countless hours in his home studio, determined to unravel the secrets of music production. He creates many of his own sounds using synthesizers and VST instruments and enriches his music with the use of soul, jazz and drumbreak samples. Over the years, he has collaborated with artists like Chapa Doesthat and S4N. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he was part of the Vlamboir Collective, where he was responsible for the beats and recordings of vocals. Recently, he has started a new journey, focusing on creating instrumental lo-fi beats, ideal for listening in the background while working or studying. His first lo-fi release, 'Love Paintings,' is already being well-received by various lo-fi playlist curators. He has set a goal for himself to release a new track every 4 weeks and to conquer the lo-fi music market within two years.
