Damazein: The English form of the Greek masculine name Δάμων Damōn, derived from δαμάζειν damazein, meaning "to overpower, tame, subdue, conquer" With roots in Jamaica and DMV, the natural and spiritual aspects of the world have grown to be an integral part of Damazeins work. These inspirations along with the influence of rock/electronic sounds of the early 2000's, as well as melodic elements from hard/post hardcore rock, fused together to create his current style. From the beginning Damazein has always sought to make music with the purpose of bringing to life the unnamable, yet blissful emotions that exist in the human psyche, and to provide listeners with a transcendental experience; that in the end allows them to understand more about themselves.
