Clydric Gales, better known as C.G. , was born in Newellton,Louisiana and later migrated to Winnsboro, Louisiana. Louisiana has long been a Hotspot for Hip-hop since the emergence of No Limit, Cash Money Records, and later Trill Ent. C.G. was heavily influence by all three labels and a host of local legends such as Lil Money and Kirk Collins. C.G.'s music ranges from raw, gritty, southern street rap such as his single "Rods" which was released in 2015, to now more cool, laid back, player made tunes such as his single "Really Feel Like that" which was released in 2021 and video filmed in South Africa. You can listen to his catalog and hear the growth in his music, his message, and his life. C.G. prides himself on empowering, educating, and uniting Black people/Africans worldwide so you'll often hear social commentary and him speaking on many political issues in his music in songs such as "Black Power Ain't for Black Cowards" and "Told Us feat.
