Armand Yilinkou "Kirei" is a musician and producer originating from South London, who is on a journey to discover his own unique sound and style. Despite not having a 'musical upbringing' with neither parents having experience in playing any instruments, Kirei started out by learning to play the piano at the age of 12, which gave him the basic theory needed to start to produce music. At this time, he spends more time producing rather than playing piano, though he is now working towards developing his jazz/blues playing and theory. Taking inspiration from various sources ranging from calm, instrumental music to the powerful and meaningful verses of rap, Kirei hopes to bring out the best from his inspirations and make music that will resonate with as many people as possible.
