Music has been described as the strongest form of magic and at 15 years old Young B, surfaced on the music industry when she penned the hit song “Chicken Noodle Soup” with DJ Webstar and created magic. It wasn’t just a “hip hop” catchy hit, it transcended and captivated audiences regardless of background or genre preference. Young B, performed “Chicken Noodle Soup” on prestigious television shows such as Oprah Winfrey, Regis & Kelley, Ellen Degeneres, 106 & Park and Sesame Street. If you didn’t catch those captivating performances on television, no worries, she was performing on major stage platforms such as Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, the Apollo Theater and a 76’rs half time show. At 17, she was not only an accomplished international superstar, but performed consistently like a seasoned professional- earning her a “Best Dance Cut” Soul Train Award-for “Chicken Noodle Soup” -now that’s magic.
