ist01ey0subs is a House/Funk producer hailing from Texas. His strong suits are in melodies and sampling. His sound takes influences from '90s to '00s video games and house albums, drawing from a predominantly SEGA and Konami handbag. His composing journey started in 2020, when he was just 12. The pandemic hit, and he was at home for the entirety of the year after March. Taking home school in fear of the virus that was then considered deadly, he reasonably had quite a bit of free time in his hands: with that, he learned the basics of composition with nothing but websites and YouTube tutorials at his disposal.
