MasaHY (pronounced "mɑsə eɪʧ waɪ") is a beatmaker based in Tokyo, Japan. He started his music career as a hip-hop club DJ in the mid-90's and has about 15 years of experience. From his experience as a club DJ, he not only has a keen eye for the latest music trends, but also has a deep knowledge of R&B, Dancehall Reggae, Jazz Fusion, Disco, and Funk. In 2021, he released his long-awaited debut EP "CUSTOMER FAVORITES", and presented a unique musical style that combined various club music elements. In recent years, he has been actively fusing diverse musical cultures through collaborations with many Afro and Caribbean artists, and is expected to grow as an international music producer.
