Originally from Malta, UK based musician Chris Vella has been producing music for the last decade. He started out his musical career with the indie-rock band 'Phobics', where he got his footing playing gigs, songwriting and producing the band together with the drummer/ co-producer Pete Galea. Galea and Chris continued to work together in his early years in the UK with their duo project 'nBOME - An Experiment' which was a combination of inspiration from artists such as Snarky Puppy, Tigran Hamasyan and the duo project between Mark Guiliana / Brad Mehldau "Mehliana". After finishing his studies, Vella continued to explore producing music with different artists and genres. He is currently collaborating with Hip-Hop artists such as Milo Bank$ on the project Sonder, as well as with artists JC.B & Yannick. Vella plays a strong role in the music production of Singer/Songwriter Sam Christie who is also the former singer of Phobics. He has produced much of Christie's early music as well as the the latest album ilysmbidkhttybikydlmb. which was recently released. Vella is currently producing as well as playing bass for the indie-rock band Whiteleaf. Vella’s most popular work as of yet is with Pop artist Ruby Duff, with her song 'Moon and Back' which has amassed over half a million streams to date. As well as his experience recording artists such as James Arthur & Bastille.
