Biography

Jordan Lee was born In Indianapolis, IN on February 19th,1989 to Parents Stacey Greene & Howard Bowling. Both parents had a major influence on the young star early on. While his mother (Stacey) loved hip hop and soul music, his father (Howard) tuned in to George Clinton and The Parliament/Funkadelic. All of those styles of music contributed to Jordans precise ear and taste in music. While the world played Michael Jackson records, he was listening to The Temptations on repeat while trying to learn the different parts of each singer in the group. He Loved to sing low like (Melvin Franklin), sing falsetto like (Eddie Kendricks) and worked on the strength in his voice like (David Ruffin & Dennis Edwards). Music in his mind, was his "Gateway" away from the poverty-stricken areas he lived in throughout his 33 years of life. By combining the soul and harmony of groups like "The Temptations" with up-tempo Hip hop artist like "2Pac" he developed a sound and genre of his own. Trap R&B Soul. Over the years he has been on countless features. Jordan won the Sobe Artist Showcase in Miami Fl in 2012 that granted him a Song Deal with Def Jam Recordings. His last project “No Retreat No Surrender” with artist Monsta Kodi for their video against injustice and equality is now over 1 million views and counting on Worldstarhiphop.com.
