Ichmouratov: Orchestral Works

Biography

The music of Russian-Canadian composer and conductor Airat Ichmouratov has been performed by a wide range of ensembles and musicians in countries around the world, including @Maxim Vengerov, chamber orchestra Moscow Virtuosi, Quebec Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre Metropolitain, Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonia Toronto, Ottawa Symphony Orchestra, Les Violons du Roy, New Orford String Quartet, Yuli Turovsky & I Musici de Montreal, Tatarstan State Symphony Orchestra (Russia), Agnieszka Duczmal &“Amadeus” Orchestra of Polish Radio, Symphony Orchestra of India, Evgeny Bushkov & State Chamber Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus, Taipei Symphony orchestra, Omega Ensemble (Australia) just to name a few. Ichmouratov's compositions were recorded on Chandos, Warner Classics, Analekta, Atma Classique, Hedone Records. Holding two Master degrees in interpretation (clarinet) and composition, also Ph.D in orchestra conducting from University of Montreal, Airat Ichmouratov has frequently been invited as the guest conductor with numerous orchestras around the world. Ichmouratov served as Conductor in Residence of Les Violons du Roy in Quebec city from 2007 until 2009 and he was appointed to the position of Assistant Resident Conductor of the Quebec Symphony Orchestra from 2009 until 2012.
