 Born Ian McGregor Hill on 54th & Legion in San Diego, California, Ian Hill started rapping at a young age. Early in his youth he drew inspiration from greats such as DMX, Biggie, Tribe Called Quest, Pharcyde, and Method Man. Hill quickly made a name for himself under the alias "Trill Hill". After his debut 2020 album "Anxiety", Hill quickly gained traction from his local community and the hip-hop community as a whole. Primarily rapping on dark old school and dusty boom bap beats, Hill uses his platform to speak on problematic subjects he observes in the world and within himself. His collaboration EP is set to release early 2022 with hip-hop producer goodboytroy.
