The first contact with electronic music took place in his childhood. One evening the song “Popcorn” was playing on his parents' turntable. This experience touched him so deeply that he could no longer live without electronic music. So Michael started to be a dancing guest in clubs and discotheques. But this surely wasn't enough for him and so he quickly started to stand behind the turntables as a DJ himself. He was so deeply connected with electronic music that he began to produce his own tracks. His first official release was a remix for DJ Thorsten Zinner in 2009, followed by numerous remixes and releases for Lacy Phillips, Chris Heid, Marc Vasquez, DC La Rue, Denyse LePage and B Infinite ft. Chris Cowley with whom he also stormed the German Dance Charts several times. In 2016 he founded his own label with ToySounds and has since released numerous works of his own in the electronic dance music scene. On the one hand he produces as VAyv for the more melodic tracks and as Michael Kruse for Techno. Furthermore, ToySounds has become a home for house and techno for many artists. In 2018 he won together with Lacy Phillips aka "The Uncle Earl" the Akademia Award as producer for the best dance EP "Invitation 2 Dance vol. 1".
