Chuy is a gender queer singer and dj based in San Antonio/Castroville, TX. They are an up and coming power house dj in the San Antonio underground electronic dance community, having performed in numerous major clubs and bars in the city, from the likes of Web House, The Heat, The Gallery, 800 Live, and many others. With a background and education in classical and opera music, Chuy also expresses their countertenor/bass vocal capability when given the opportunity; from professional work with the University of Incarnate Word and Opera SA, to singing on queer stage productions on St. Mary’s St. with their collective house, Plastik.
