Since about 7 years of age I've had a unique ear for music; originating from the sound of the church. My first true experience of musicianship came from sitting in the pew with my mother in the midst of praise and worship, watching them jam out from song to song. One day my step-dad brought a yamaha keyboard home, and played a few melodies that caught my attention. Eventually I would take the melodies and movements I learned from the musicians in church and apply them to my own self taught lessons. I would practice for hours. Years later I was introduced to Fruity Loops around 1999-2000 as well as Sony Acid Pro. At this time I was not fully engaged in music production but I had an idea of what I wanted to do. It wasn't until 2002-2003 that I begin taking music production seriously, after I came across some folk that knew what they were doing. I was inspired by K-$hellz and Steve T. from Certified Ent. by way of Port Arthur,TX. From there it was a constant internal/external competition to get better and be better than I was. My beats started out like theme songs for PBS lol. Playing keys was one thing but applying it to music production was the challenge. As with anything practice and continuously challenging myself put me in a confident enough position to share my skills with more artist like P.A.T. Louisiana's Finest and Daalight.
