Based in Orlando, raised in the Bronx Rapper/ Singer - songwriter Cfya brings a delightful mix of Hip-hop and R&B with that 90s feel with a blend of reggae. 80s baby, born in the Virgin Islands & grew up in Anguilla which is where her West Indian roots brew and releases pure vibes in her music. After moving to New York in the 90’s her love for Hip-hop became a passion. Artist like Missy Elliot, Lauren Hill, Eve, Aaliyah, Gwen Stafani, Foxy Brown & Pharrell Williams of N.e.r.d became a huge influence just to name a few. In the early 2000’s Cfya began recording in home studios and performing at local clubs and bars in NYC. She also did a few hook girl appearances , one of which to mention was a track by Noreage called “Get Down” produced by Timbaland. She also worked with Camron and a few upcoming artist in NY. In 2008 she hosted a Hip-hop radio broadcast in Antigua, WI on Sun FM. In Antigua her single “We Gon Party” spun for several weeks which landed performances in which she opened up for Wyclef Jean, Morgan Heritage, Tanya Stephens and Movado. Cfya is also the CCO of SpaceCadetMusicLLC , an independent music group of 20+ members alongside CEO G5_no_Parachute. Many of her collaborations will be with members of the Space Cadets so stay tuned for that! At this time she is working on a solo project entitled “Flame On High” and will also be releasing a mixtape very soon called “The Features” A variety of her hottest collabs with a lot of dope and refreshing artist.
