Joanis Gjonaj (Born in Tirana, Albania, January 13) Better Known As John Van Ride, he lived in Greece for almost 25 years, where he continued his saxophone studies and due to his great passion for music, he became interested in performing as a DJ. John Van Ride (DJ, Music Producer, Composer, Songwriter,) is composer and producer of many hit songs of famous Albanian artists, He Also Made two songs for one of the most famous and greatest singers in Albania, Aurela Gace - “Veten dua gjalle” & “Vagabonde”. Amongst them singer Gerta Mahmutaj, whom he collaborated in many songs including song “Vetes” (to Myself) where he competed in the “Festivali I Kenges Magjike” 2016 and won “Best Dance” Award. In 2017 he produced the song “Si N’fillim” (Like at the Beginning) with singer Albina Kelmendi with whom took part again in “Festivali I Kenges Magjike” 2017. “Mos u Kthe” was another hit song produced in collaboration with Ylli Limani, Fatjon Miftari, and singer Semi Jaupaj. Producer of “E dua” song by Vedat Ademi and Klejti Mahmutaj, in Pop-Rock genre.
