A Danish composer who was from the southern part of the Netherlands. He was engaged by the chapel of the court of King Christian IV of Denmark and was sent to Holland to hire other musicians. Gistou composed a five part madrigal in two parts and five dances each in four parts. ~ Keith Johnson, Rovi
