Akram Chekki, better known by his stage name Tshak & BABA TSHA & Lakadjina, is a Tunisian DJ and electronic music composer. Born on May 8, 1985 in Tunis, he began his professional DJ career in 2005 in clubs around Tunis, with his first gig being at the famous Boeuf Sur Le Toit club. In 2007, Akram Chekki signed his first House music track with London-based label "2 Label Recording". In 2009, he signed with "Pandora Digital Records" in Portugal, and in 2011, he signed with "System Record" in the USA. Akram Chekki's hard work and passion for electronic music quickly gained recognition. In July 2011, Akram Chekki created his own record label "Koojina Records" in Tunisia. Koojina Records is an independent digital music label that specializes in House, Tech House, Techno and Progressive House genres. The label has produced several tracks for numerous artists around the world, and quickly gained popularity in the Tunisian music scene.
