Wendell Mortimer, widely known by his stage name "Avvy," is a rising recording artist hailing from the enchanting island of Great Inagua in the Bahamas. This young and talented local superstar has made a name for himself with his electric performances, captivating audiences with his spellbinding shows. Avvy burst into the music scene with his debut album, aptly titled "The Best Kept Secret," which received rave reviews. The lead single from the album, "Roach On My Bread," quickly became a staple single across the islands of The Bahamas. As the mastermind behind his own songs, Avvy showcases his remarkable ability to carry on the Bahamian music tradition of storytelling in a fun and captivating manner. Avvy's musical journey began in April 2005 when he started actively writing music, and he made his first public appearance in August of the same year at the Great Inagua Homecoming festivities, performing his hit song "Roach on My Bread."
