Nsanity is a Chicano (Mexican/American) rap group hailing from San Jose, the largest city in Northern California. The group members are Sinner, Heavy, Dee, Sickenn & Chapterz. Each one of the artists brings their own unique style of rhyming, delivery and approach to the music they create individually and collectively. The rap group has never been one to follow trends and has stayed true to being themselves, never conforming to anything else. While researching artists to work with whose names were most heard in San Jose Nsanity caught the attention of the influential Bay Area producer Traxamillion (R.I.P) also from San Jose and invited the group to feature on his Techboom album. The name of the record is “So Crazy” which also featured a music video now available on YouTube. Nsanity’s first viral music video hitting 1 million plus views was “ That Summer Weather” and continues to be a favorite among listeners to this day. Nsanity covers subjects about the street life from a Chicano perspective. For example: partying, lowrider culture, ethnic pride, life’s struggles, lessons, experiences, and many more with the ability to be universal. There’s over 45 official music videos on the Nsanity Music YouTube channel. Although the group has been on hiatus they are currently working on releasing new music and unreleased material to add to their catalogue.
