The Aquaerials is the ambient instrumental project of Mark Swanson, a Grand Rapids, MI-based composer whose corpus of atmospheric indie pop explores neoclassical, neofolk, post-rock, and downtempo electronic music, creating a rich tapestry of atmosphere and texture. Mark has been consistently releasing music under the moniker since 2015, composing nearly 150 pieces and releasing over 20 albums and EPs in the past decade. His latest, Dark Bird, was released on September 13th, 2024.
