“Bosco Rogers Beat Machine is a brand new electro-riot grrrl act featuring US/Korean rapper Lil’ Kymchee. Schlaaah!” Schlaaah! is Bosco Rogers Beat Machine’s first EP. This is the new electro side project of Bosco Rogers featuring the Korean-American rapper Lil’ Kymchee. You know Bosco Rogers, the Franco-English duo composed of Barthélémy 'Barth' Corbelet and Delphinius 'Del' Vargas! Their last double-single Polar Moves/Tiramisu released earlier this year and born of their one-year collaboration with the French luxury brand Hermès was a perfect compendia of the duo's love of pop, vintage equipment and flower punk spirit. Shortly after the release of said double-single, still in lockdown, and fixated on their analog synths, they started working on a remix of “Tiramisu”. « Everyone was making depressing lockdown records but we decided we wanted to make something fun to raise peoples spirits ». They then invited Lily Kim, a singer of their acquaintance, to sing on the remix. The juices were flowing, so the gang got their game faces on and composed and produced 3 more titles in one go. It came very quickly, driven by an uncontrollable urge, the desire to dance and make a record intended for dancefloors, sound systems and house parties more than concert halls… This is how what was supposed to be just a bit of fun became a project in its own right: Bosco Rogers Beat Machine.
