The Mirage Artist is a band originating from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. With only 2 members in the band the goal is to experiment with various sounds while keeping a rooted metalcore element. The band was formed when RaShaun Edwards (Vocalist/Lyricist) attended a house party hosted by Shawn Hughes (Guitarist/Writer) in 2012. The two quickly realized their shared perspectives in both their world views and music tastes. 
 After exchanging a few song ideas via SoundCloud, they began collaborating. Drawing from inpirations ranging from Volumes all the way to La Dispute, The Mirage Artist writes from real life experiences to try and convey facets of the human psyche we that we aren't always able to explain with just words alone. This band does not consider itself a part of just one genre. The spontaneity of their writing process produces a wide variety of music that touches a wide variety of peoples. You will hear the influences of metal, alternative rock, electronic, hip-hop, and spoken word within their body of work. The Miragw Artist simply wants to make tasteful music and provide a positive experience for their listeners. Any support beyond that is much appreciated.
